This policy is subject to simplified underwriting. This means that we will not ask any medical questions; however, please note that all pre-existing conditions, both medical and non-medical, are excluded. We will not pay any claims relating to circumstances that were in existence prior to your date of joining. If you make a claim, we will do checks to ensure that the event giving rise to that claim is not related to circumstances in existence prior to you joining. This product is designed for students living and studying outside their home country. You must submit proof of your enrolment as a student, as well as a copy of your passport. You can attach a scan, photo, or screenshot here – or you can submit it later. However, please be advised that we must receive this within 5 days of the chosen commencement date of your policy. Failure to provide these documents promptly may result in your policy being cancelled. HCI Group does not provide advice as to the suitability of this cover – you must carefully review the policy literature to determine whether this cover is suitable for your needs. This policy is designed to meet the needs of students studying internationally who need cover towards a range of medical and non-medical expenses.
