What do HCI Group policies offer over EHIC and GHIC? 

As a UK national you are able to apply for healthcare cover abroad with a UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC). The UK GHIC has replaced the existing European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) – if you have an existing EHIC it is still valid until the card’s expiry date and then you must apply for a GHIC.

A GHIC allows you to access necessary state healthcare in EU countries and some other countries.
